Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in New York, United States. This role is integral for our clients operations within the education industry, as it involves managing the payroll of approximately 200 employees. The position initially requires an on-site presence, with the potential to transition to a hybrid work arrangement in the future. Responsibilities: • Execute full cycle payroll duties for both salaried and hourly employees • Handle two payroll cycles, including a monthly payroll for salaried staff and a bi-weekly payroll for hourly workers • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and ADP - Payroll systems for payroll processing tasks • Maintain, update, and manage records for 101 - 500 employees • Ensure accurate and timely processing of biweekly payroll • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various payroll-related tasks • Prepare and record accurate journal entries related to payroll • Respond to and resolve any payroll-related inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software is mandatory. • Experience with Full Cycle Payroll is required. • Ability to manage Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees efficiently. • Must be able to Process Biweekly Payroll. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary. • Must have the ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries.
