Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in Needham, Massachusetts, 02492, United States. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with the responsibility of efficiently processing the weekly payroll for a sizable team, managing complex payroll systems, and ensuring accurate records through the use of specific accounting software systems. Responsibilities • Oversee the weekly payroll processing for a significant number of employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Utilize accounting software systems and tools like Paycor and Time on Demand for payroll processing. • Handle a mix of hourly and salaried payroll, including differentials based on working hours. • Perform auditing tasks to maintain the accuracy and integrity of payroll data. • Ensure the smooth operation of Time on Demand as it feeds into Paycor, addressing any discrepancies promptly. • Manage complex payroll scenarios, ensuring all employees are compensated accurately. • Keep up-to-date records of all payroll activities, ensuring transparency and accuracy. • Respond to and resolve any payroll-related inquiries from employees. • Implement the necessary accounting functions to maintain efficient payroll operations. • Use ADP - Payroll for additional payroll tasks, ensuring a seamless payroll process.
