Payroll Specialist
Community Health Systems
**Job Summary**
Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll information and maintenance of payroll system and obsidian according to established policies and procedures. Maintains and audits WFG timekeeping system and accurately processes payroll. Monitors implementation of legal issues pertaining to payroll. Assists directors on the timekeeping system along with training on procedures for payroll processing. Process garnishments and calculates retro pay when needed and prepares service now tickets. Assists CFO and clinics with payroll data as needed.
**Qualifications**
_Education: Minimum of two year associates degree in accounting or comparable experience._
_Experience: Experience in payroll/accounting reports. Must be proficient in excel and google sheets._
**Preferred Qualifications: Oracle experience, UKG experience is highly preferred.**
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to create documents, spreadsheets, and reports.
+ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and provide support to employees at all levels.
+ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Basic knowledge of Payroll practices and principles, including employee file management, benefits, and payroll.
+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
