Description
We are in search of a remote Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role requires you to have 2+ years of prior payroll processing experience within ADP Workforce Now. The ideal payroll specialist will also be proficient with both US and Canadian Payroll.
Responsibilities:
• Recommend and implement improvements to the current payroll process
• Oversee payroll for both US and Canadian employees, ensuring accurate deductions and remittances
• Administer 401k and RSPs for US and Canadian employees respectively
• Handle garnishments and tax deductions effectively
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accurate records and resolve any discrepancies
• Set up new companies for expanding US employees across various states
• Successfully execute parallel testing during implementation
• Perform reconciliation tasks in a timely and precise manner.
Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is a must for accurate payroll processing.
• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration is required to handle employee retirement plans.
• Auditing skills are needed to ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll procedures.
• Familiarity with Canadian Payroll is essential for the management of international employees.
• Experience with ADP - Payroll is necessary for the efficient execution of payroll tasks.
