The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in our organization's success and offers opportunities for learning, engaging in exciting projects, and personal growth within our team. The Payroll Specialist performs a wide range of record keeping and end-to-end payroll processing activities.        

The role will also drive continuous improvement through standardization, harmonization, and automation of the payroll processes.

This position is part of the Finance Shared Service Center Team and will be reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, located in Nieuwerkerk, NL in an on-site role with flexibility.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

Ensure accurate and timely management and processing of multi-country end-to-end payroll with local payroll providers across EMEA and in India while adhering to company policies and regulatory obligations.Prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile and maintain payroll data including balance sheet reconciliations, processing payments, and make necessary adjustments to guarantee accuracy and precision.       Proactively resolve payroll-related queries and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process.Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and other relevant departments to effectively address and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner, fostering efficient cross-departmental collaboration.Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring strict compliance with all applicable requirements and regulations.          Manage social contribution and payroll tax filings by compiling and reconciling the necessary documents, ensuring timely tax payments.

The essential requirements of the job include.  

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing in EMEA and IN.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong skills in Excel.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Proficiency in English is essential, written and verbal.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

Involvement in process improvement projects.Systems experience in Oracle ERP, or payroll platforms.Any additional language is a plus
