JOB SUMMARY
Payroll Specialist is assigned to one country in a specific geographical area to successfully process Monthly payrolls and respond to payroll inquiries. Pay cycle can vary by country and/or compliance requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Process monthly payrolls 60%
Monthly filings 10%
Respond to inquiries 10%
Reconcile payrolls 10%
Prepare reports 10%
Complete all activities involved in monthly payroll processing such as processing files from the time management system and other related approved documents and reports. Implement controls to ensure all payroll data is processed timely and accurately into the payroll system. Maintain timekeeping documents, rules current, holiday dates, pay calendars and all related to time tracking current. Perform comparison reports to audit discrepancies prior to the pay date and responsible to obtain necessary approvals are obtained and documented. Process and file tax reports, declarations, and payments timely. Expert in responding to payroll questions within compliance of local guidelines as well as Company policies Review and process payroll discrepancies timely. Coordinate necessary funding to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner. Maintain bank access for money movement and processing. Follow internal rules when processing bonus information. Use Alorica tools to extract bonus data for payments. Coordinate, test, and implement tax updates, time keeping rule changes and or legal requests. Reconcile and process other payments related to loans, garnishments, savings, allowances, etc Make recommendations on process improvement.TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
Experience with payroll systems, time keeping systems and tax portals for filing. Experience with Style/Msoft preferred. Microsoft Office, formulas, pivot tables required. Strong written communication skills Assist in special projects as assigned by direct management Other duties as assigned Knowledge of payroll related rules, regulations and policies Detailed oriented with good problem-solving skills.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or business preferred. Bilingual in Bulgarian & English mandatory Experience with Payroll and Timekeeping software. Able to exercise strict confidentiality Must be detailed oriented Able to adhere to tight deadlines, adapt to a flexible schedule and work under pressure Strong written communication, time management and research skillTRAVEL
