We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team!
Essential Responsibilities:Payroll process from beginning to end for 1600+ employees, in ADPAssist in data entry of new hires, terminations, and merit increasesAssist in data entry, including new hires and terminations within ADPProcess commission payments (i.e. create files for upload thru processing)Assist in preparing/review of manual checks for terminated employees (multi-states), within ADPResearch employee payroll inquires or answers ADP questions through the ticketing systemProcess wires for benefit plans HSA, FSA, 401K, NQ 409A&B, TSACreate upload files to ADPAssist in the review of payroll in ADPReconciliation of commissions and contractor paymentsAssist with other special projects as requiredCreate payroll upload files to go into ADPTransmission of 401K files to Fidelity Download of Fidelity Loans, deferrals to enter into ADPTraining of staff on ADP Time & AttendanceAssist in Year-End processing of W2 and 1099’sPrepare communications emails for PayrollProvide reports to the accounting teamReview and input garnishments into ADP
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:Minimum 3 to 5 years of Payroll / Human Resources experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or financeADP Time & Attendance systemExperience in processing within ADPGreat follow-through skills, and good math and logic skillsGreat customer service mindsetAttention to detail and analytical skillsOrganizational skillsFlexibility and ability to multi-task and willingness to work overtimeProblem-solving abilities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic office skills and abilities, knowledge of standard office equipment and software including Google Docs, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and ability and willingness to learn new and/or proprietary applications as requiredIntermediate Excel skillsInteract with colleagues, team members, and other department staff as well as management and executives in a professional office settingExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
