Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist/Payroll Accountant in Pasadena, Texas. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, focusing on high volume payroll processing, and providing support to employees in all payroll-related matters. Responsibilities: • Accurately process high volume payroll on a regular basis • Enter deductions and garnishments into the payroll system as required • Resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and effective manner • Make use of Excel for analytical purposes, including the use of VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee payroll records • Use accounting software systems for payroll processing and related tasks • Work with ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce for payroll management • Administer 401k - RRSP as part of your payroll responsibilities • Carry out accounting and auditing functions as necessary • Handle benefit functions related to payroll processing.
