Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor in Bow, Washington, United States. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of payroll operations for bi-weekly payroll functions, maintaining accurate records, preparing tax reports, and resolving payroll inquiries. Your position will be pivotal in coordinating with other departments and providing exemplary customer service by assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of payroll operations and ensure accuracy in data entry.
• Retain and maintain comprehensive records of employee payroll, including hours, vacation, holidays, etc.
• Balance all earnings and deductions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and distribute payroll and time attendance reports.
• Ensure completion of bi-weekly payroll for multiple properties according to schedule.
• Prepare necessary tax forms and documentation, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and other regulations.
• Update and secure the payroll database regularly.
• Use Workforce Management (WFM) and Cognos to generate payroll reports.
• Reconcile payroll deductions such as garnishments, 401(k), etc.
• Assist in resolving payroll inquiries and provide excellent customer service to employees.
• Coordinate with other departments for necessary updates or issue resolutions.
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000.

Requirements • Proven experience in the role of a Payroll Supervisor or similar
• Proficient in auditing, data entry, and workforce management
• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for 101 - 500 employees
• Thorough understanding of payroll taxes and payroll tax reporting
• Expertise in handling special payroll deductions and benefits payroll
• Familiarity with Cognos software
• Experience in dealing with payroll garnishments
• Knowledge of benefit functions in relation to payroll
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to supervise and guide a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is desired.
