Payroll Supervisor
Job Title: Payroll Supervisor Fully Remote Responsibilities: + Lead day-to-day functions for semi-monthly payroll processing with the U.S. Payroll team, including off-cycle payrolls for bonuses, stock, and other payments. + Ensure timeliness and accuracy in payroll processing, reconciling deductions, withholdings, and cash funding. + Support the administration of the Time and Labor system, ensuring completion and accuracy of timesheets. + Handle state and local registrations, tax setup, quarterly/annual tax filing requirements, and reconciliations. + Address and resolve tax notices. + Identify opportunities and develop work instructions for cross-training purposes. + Utilize payroll accounting knowledge to support General Ledger mapping for payroll-related transactions and postings. + Prepare or review related journal entries for booking in the General Ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations. + Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and Human Resources teams, including Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS. + Assist with various audit activities related to payroll information. + Support W-2 statement processes, corrections, and other required annual reporting. Qualifications: + Minimum of 7 years of payroll processing experience within a complex, high-volume, multi-state payroll environment. + 3+ years of Workday experience with full-cycle payroll. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel. + General accounting experience. + Multi-state payroll experience with high volume (1000+ employees). + CPP designation preferred. Additional Skills: + Strong reporting skills. + Experience with payroll month-end and year-begin processes. Work Environment: + Remote position. + Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. + Reports to the Payroll Director.
