Description United States and are currently on the lookout for a diligent Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director. The primary role of the Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director will be to manage the organization's payroll functions, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and in accordance with governmental regulations. Given the multi-state presence of our operations, familiarity with multi-state taxes is crucial. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the accurate and timely dispatch of payroll. • Managing payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and various other deductions. • Implementing timely updates in payroll, including the addition of new hires, termination of employees, and adjustments in pay rates. • Ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, and industry best practices. • Conducting union reporting. • Overseeing weekly certified payroll and submissions. • Ensuring timely deposits of multi-state payroll taxes. • Supervising the processing of electronic timesheets. • Managing unemployment taxes. • Undertaking other tasks and projects as required by the role. Requirements • Hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll supervisory/managerial/director role • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services • Experience with ADP Workforce Now • Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode • Familiarity with Ceridian • Ability to use Crystal Reports • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration • Proficiency in About Time • Ability to handle Accounting Functions • Experienced in Auditing • Knowledge of Benefit Functions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
