Description We are in the search for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team, operating within the financial industry in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. The chosen candidate will be entrusted with the critical task of overseeing all elements of payroll processing for our employees in the US, maintaining a keen focus on accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of multi-state payroll for a large number of employees on a weekly and semi-monthly basis, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage relationships with outsourced vendors to guarantee adherence to processes, legal requirements, and service expectations.
• Develop and lead team members across the U.S., fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Engage with other teams across the organization, such as Human Resources and Accounting, to achieve common objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and refine payroll processes to suit the evolving needs of the organization, devising long-term strategies for sustained improvement.
• Actively participate in all payroll system upgrades, integrations, and process and efficiency enhancements.
• Function as the primary point of contact between the company and local, state, and federal agencies regarding payroll issues.
• Oversee the processing of all Quarterly and Annual tax reports and filings, ensuring compliance with Sox regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and standard methodologies in Payroll Service, technology, and service delivery.
• Uphold stringent data security standards and confidentiality for all payroll-related information. Requirements • Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian software
• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration
• Capability to handle Accounting Functions
• Proficiency in Auditing procedures
• Competence in managing Benefit Functions
• Skilled in using Paylocity software
• Experience in managing Multistate Payroll
• Ability to handle Multiple Entities
• Expertise in Multi-state Payroll management
• Strong background in Payroll operations
• Familiarity with Payroll - Garnishments
• Experience in managing Payroll for over 500 Employees
• Proficiency in Payroll Management
• Ability to Reconcile Payroll accurately and promptly
