Job Title: Payroll Support Specialist
Job Description
The Payroll Support Specialist will be utilized internally to assist employees with questions regarding the payroll processes and systems. This person will field internal calls from directors, managers, line workers, and other staff members to help them with any and all questions regarding payroll processes and how to log payroll information into their systems. Additionally, the role involves tracking calls in an Excel spreadsheet. Calls can range from inquiries about time off and entering time in their timekeeping system to questions about benefit information and policies. These representatives will be responsible for identifying the proper department if they are unable to assist the incoming callers.
Responsibilities
+ Assist employees with questions regarding payroll processes and systems.
+ Field internal calls from various staff members.
+ Provide guidance on logging payroll information into systems.
+ Track calls in an Excel spreadsheet.
+ Address inquiries about time off and entering time in timekeeping systems.
+ Answer questions about benefit information and policies.
+ Identify and refer to the proper department when unable to assist callers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with integrated systems such as SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, etc.

+ Benefits and HR knowledge is a plus
Work Environment
The work environment includes hours from 8/9am to 5/6pm, Monday through Friday. The role starts as 4-5 days on-site until the person is comfortable, then transitions to a hybrid model with 3 days in the office (Monday, Tuesday, and one additional day).
