Southern California TRS Staffing Solutions are looking for a payroll tax analyst. To join our client's EPC team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Responsible for recording, monitoring, and resolving all agency tax notices and tracers with 3rd party provider and government agencies, validating of all agency responses.
Manage tax errors by implementing corrective measures and penalties
Researches and provides analysis details on variances between the payroll systems and the payroll tax outsourcer
W2 corrections and reissues
Is attentive to detail and accuracy and committed to excellence and quality
Assisting the Payroll Manager with the research, development, and implementation of payroll tax strategies.
Collectively collaborates with a team of payroll SMEs to proactively monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely tax filing & reporting to government authorities
Requirements
3+ years of experience working as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, HR, or a relevant field
Must have strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills to identify payroll-related tax issues and compliance errors.
Familiarity with payroll policies and tax regulations
Requires strong discretion and independent judgment
Proficiency in ADP SmartCompliance
Knowledge of procedures, policies and best practices
SAP system knowledge a plus
Job Location: OnSite - Aliso Viejo, CA
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (7am - 4:45pm)
Pay range: $80K - $85K/yr.
