Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist
You will liaise between Linde and ADP to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and maintain POA and TPA as required by the jurisdictions for Multiple EINsEnsure accurate and timely filings for Training Fund, Modified Business, and Payroll Preparation taxesReview tax laws and provide guidance for compliant payroll tax policies. Perform system checks and UAT testing to ensure proper setup of tax updates, states, jurisdictions, limits, etc within the Ulti Pro SystemAdvise Stakeholders on best practices and emerging issues related to payroll taxServe as subject matter expert related to federal, state, and local payroll tax, as well as system testingGather and Analyze data for withholding and unemployment tax audits, proposed legislation, and legal entity inquiries, assist in IRS and State auditsYou will conduct quarterly review of Federal, State, Unemployment and Local Tax returns for accuracy making corrections where applicableReconcile year end tax forms to payroll system records and third party tax filing recordsSupport problem resolutions for employees and business partnersResolve unusual issues, investigating their source to minimize or eliminate future occurrencesYou will coordinate, complete and review a broad range of complex processing, operational, customer service, legal and/or accounting-related specialized duties in support of assigned area
Ensure compliance with operational risk controls in accordance with Linde and regulatory standards/policies. Maintain Linde Internal control standards including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulatorsAlso you will assist employees, team, and HR with tax related inquiries, as well assist with special projects and/or assignments within the department in relation to payroll taxes, systems, and processes
