Salary $25-29/hourRoles and ResponsibilitiesProcessing weekly payroll for up to 300 employees in Sage 300Collecting payroll documents (Tax forms, EFT/Void Cheque) and entering information in the payroll systemManaging electronic timekeeping systemsCalculating and entering manual payroll adjustments including pay raises, retro pay, statutory holiday pay, overtime, and moreMaintaining employee records and issuing ROEs on a regular basisMaintaining current knowledge of federal and provincial employment standardsIssuing Letters of Employment as requestedCalculating payable hours, deductions, wage garnishments, and similar adjustmentsResolving issues employees have with timesheets, pay slips, and other payroll mattersVerifying and changing employee bank records to process payments accuratelyPreparing and issuing earning statementsMaintaining the billing database to generate and invoice clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, 4-weekly, and monthly basis in Bullhorn OneAdjusting, crediting, and rebilling invoices as required in Bullhorn OnePerforming other duties as assignedQualificationsProven experience processing payroll for large employee groups, preferably using Sage 300Familiarity with electronic timekeeping systems and invoicing platforms such as Bullhorn One is an assetStrong understanding of federal and provincial employment standardsHigh attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and calculationsAbility to address and resolve payroll-related issues promptly and effectivelyStrong organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee recordsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to prepare documents and address employee inquiries professionallyAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesReady to start immediately and commit to the 3-month contract term
