Overview We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our team as a PBX Operator. The ideal candidate uses their engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests as they call the resort/hotel. While answering the phones, the PBX Operator is a source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area. Your Role: Uses private branch exchange (PBX) switchboard to connect interoffice and house calls. Answers, screens, and routes outside and in-house calls. Supplies information to callers and records messages. Keeps record of requests placed by guests and ensures requests are completed. Completes work orders for the engineering department. Performs clerical duties such as filing, stuffing envelopes, etc. Operates radio system to relay in-house messages and information. Updates telephone directory in telephone computer system. Opens and closes DID lines in meeting rooms and runs necessary reporting for posting calls. Inputs wake up calls. Places welcome calls to guests. Understands and can react to emergency situations and procedures. Utilizes PBX and front office computer system. COMPENSATION: $17.00 per hour Every job here has the opportunity to grow into Lead, supervisory, management, and executive-level positions.
