We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Under the general supervision of the Director, **PBX Operators** monitor telephone console and process incoming and in-house calls in a quick and professional manner. Assists patients and visitors with information and directions to specific areas in the hospital; responds quickly and effectively to all emergency codes using proper hospital procedures, and maintains a professional level of work performance and image for the hospital. **What You Will Do in Your Role:** + You will answer all incoming & inter-hospital calls within 30 seconds and page over Public Address system. + You will respond to all emergency codes within 5 seconds and proceeds with appropriate procedures. + You will assist security by monitoring devices and paging/ calling on SpectraLink phones. + You will assist and direct all visitors or patients to their specific areas within the hospital. **What qualifications you will need:** + High school or equivalent + **1 year PBX experience or multi-line telephone experience required** As a **full-service, 420+ bed acute care hospital** , HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood (https://careers.hcahealthcare.com/pages/hca-houston-healthcare-kingwood) has provided the northeast Houston community with high-quality, cost-effective healthcare for over 25 years.
