The operator responds to and announces codes quickly and decisively. The operator maintains compliance with all state, federal, or other regulatory guidelines. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Answers calls in a precise, clear manner, and distributes them to the appropriate room or department in an expedient manner · Pages personnel in an appropriate manner · Pages overhead hospital personnel and doctors, as requested by appropriate personnel. · Pages physicians and hospital personnel on pagers or cell phones when deemed necessary. · Pages scheduled meetings and legitimate events as deemed necessary. · Responds to codes in an appropriate manner · Maintains an accurate knowledge of hospital codes. · Responds to a code immediately without delay or forethought. · Answer code phone without delay, regardless of other calls coming in. · Properly announces codes in an accurate and efficient manner, according to procedure. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** · GED or High School Diploma. · Good organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills. · Must have pleasant voice and personality.
