What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?

The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

What will be your main missions?

 

 Our Faurecia Clean Mobility is looking for a PC&L VIE M/F based in COLUMBUS NORTH, USA.

 

The role of the Engineering Changes Coordinator / inventory analyst is to ensure that product changes (new product launches, product phase-out) are considered within procurements and production process.

The main missions of the role are:

Update systems related to engineering changes (Bill of Materials, logistics convention) Manage application dates of product modifications according to engineering change proceduresMaintain special relationships with program teamsDefine and assume the logistics conditions necessary for the launch of new programs Ensure that changes are considered in production scheduling, material planning, and within physical flowsIdentify appropriate packaging and introduce changes concerning border production line procurements, stocks, and towards suppliersManage phase out filesReduce obsolete stocks to minimum levels and reorganize file in order to obtain reimbursement from the customerUpdate direct labor standards after Hoshin event and validate with ControllerManage the Inventory Cycle Counting according to Faurecia proceduresAnalyse inventory gapsParticipate in the preparation and execution of the physical inventoriesParticipate in the definition of the counting procedures with the Finance departmentProvide all necessary data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies’ analysisMeasure the inventory accuracyPropose action plans to reduce inventory discrepanciesFollow up and report daily relevant indicators (Number of counts, Negatives stocks, non-processed transactions, etc.…)Actively participate and support the action plans to improve inventory accuracyEnsure regular contact with other departments outside the work groupParticipate in Cross Functional Teams to find solutions to improve inventory accuracyEnsure the implementation and the respect of those actions within the organization

 

The mission will last 18 months.

 

What you need to join us?

English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world.Master’s degree/Engineering diploma in supply cahinMinimum 2-3 years purchasing experience. (Automotive preferred / capital preferred)
