Job Description: PC Network Tech 2

Location: Clearfield, UT

Contract Duration: 1 year

Primary Focus: Desktop Windows administration support and offnet environment compliance activities.

Job Duties:Provide technical support for computers, including installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of personal computers, related software, and peripherals.Instruct users on using personal computers as primary controllers for manufacturing tools and machinery.Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and document technical solutions.Provide technical support beyond Tier 1/2 support vendor.Manage Windows systems.Monitor ticket queues to ensure SLAs are met.Work with software vendors to support third-party applications.Provide offnet environment support.Investigate users' information network and communication needs.Basic Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of Windows desktop support experience.Proficiency in Microsoft products (Windows Desktop OS, Office Suite).Strong troubleshooting abilities.Familiarity with manufacturing operations hardware/software.Experience in Active Directory (configuring user and computer accounts).Good understanding of networking principles (OSI model).Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs.Understanding of enterprise-level storage concepts.Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.Superior customer service and service delivery skills.High ethical standards and personal integrity.Quick learner with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive, mission-critical needs.Customer and detail-oriented with good decision-making abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience using ServiceNow in an enterprise environment.2 years of Windows desktop support experience in an enterprise environment (>1000 endpoints).Cross-platform experience (Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX).CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+ certification.Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.Experience supporting manufacturing operations hardware/software.Familiarity with OT/ICS segregation principles.Experience supporting OT/ICS environments.Skills:ServiceNowWindowsComputer troubleshootingInstallationAdministrative supportDesktop support (Windows XP)OT/ICSPC support

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
