Job Title: PC Maintenance Technician

General Summary:
Under limited supervision, performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of computer systems and peripheral equipment across the organization. Maintains inventory, provides progress updates, and assists Senior PC Maintenance Technician as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Installs, relocates, and configures computer equipment, ensuring proper network and power setup. Provides first-level support and escalates issues when necessary.Uses Helpdesk software to log, track, and resolve service requests.Troubleshoots and resolves moderate to complex technical issues (PCs, printers, software, network connectivity).Provides support to advanced IT teams for escalated issues.Maintains and orders inventory, ensuring timely reordering of parts and proper documentation of configurations.Coordinates installation and maintenance activities with vendors, ensuring adherence to standards and timely resolution of issues.Analyzes real-time system trends.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma (GED) required; Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.4+ years of experience with desktop systems, installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong customer service skills.Knowledge of PCs, printers, software, and networking (Microsoft/Novell).Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and follow security and control procedures
