Job Description
A wholesale distribution client of Insight Global is seeking 4 PC Technicians to join their team for a PC Refresh project. The PC Techs will support the PC refresh initiative by transitioning associates from out-of-warranty devices to new IT equipment. They will be responsible for the deployment and setup of new PCs, and assist associates with device migration, software setup, and basic IT support.
Day-to-Day
Schedule convenient time with field associates to setup new IT equipment.
Maintain calendar invites and prioritize set appointments.
Utilize training documents to perform configurations, transfer data, and complete setup of IT equipment.
Document ticket & project progress using ServiceNow ticketing, Microsoft Excel, and reporting metrics weekly to Help Desk Manager & Help Desk QA Lead.
Respond to phone calls, emails, or web tickets; resolves issues and support all PC Refresh initiatives.
Coordinate with support partners to ensure that problems are resolved promptly and effectively by accurately escalating incidents to correct next-level support when appropriate.
Utilize an established ticketing system to maintain documentation and work history of open incidents throughout the ticket life cycle.
Assist with the setup of new PCs; provide assistance with data migration as needed.
Ensure the Help Desk maintains exceptional customer service by meeting or exceeding established Service Level Agreements

Skills and Requirements
Requirements
Experience in IT Support related role or education/training in IT preferred
PC refresh / migration experience
Upgrading hardware, software, PC imaging experience
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
Ability to follow SOPs for device setup, data migration and software setup
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail null
