Description Our client is looking to add another PC Technician contractor. This PC Technician will be at the associate - or tier one - level. We would like to have an additional person from Tek Systems to assist with hardware deployment work. We have had a previous youth apprentice for IT helping with that while he was back for his summer break, but he will be returning to school on August 20th. Despite the good progress that was made with his help we find that we are still pretty far behind with returning leased equipment. That is why we would need help to get ourselves caught back up with our current leased hardware schedules. Our client is looking for a pc technician to help with level one support issues from their internal users. This will consist of supporting the user over the phone, via email and remotely. They will also manage the walk up desk. Though this candidate can support all different types off issues, many of the issues revolve around password resets, gaining access to applications, printer set up, and email issues. This is a Windows 10 environment and PC's and laptops are Dell . Candidate may be involved in some computer builds. We are looking for someone with an associates degree and 0-3 years of experience. an Internship or a background like working at best buy has always worked out well in the past. We would also look at someone who is in school and wants to work this job for the summer as there are very scripted instructions. Customer service background would also be great. If this person had experience in hardware deployments that would also be helpful. The Service Desk has a strong brand of customer service. Candidates will need an Associates degree in IT to be able to be hired on someone with an internship or experience at a place like Best Buy plus a completed Associates degree would be ideal.
