IT Specialist Location: Hollidaysburg, PA (80% Onsite, 20% Remote) Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Workstation Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide Tier 2 support for hardware and software, installation, and troubleshooting services across various offices, construction field sites, county stockpiles, and other remote locations within a five-county region. Key Responsibilities: + Assist IT staff with hardware and software support, including installation and troubleshooting. + Install and configure PC hardware, peripherals, and software in both network and stand-alone environments. + Use diagnostic software and read technical manuals to resolve issues. + Travel to various locations within District 9 and its respective counties to provide support. + Install and troubleshoot Cisco VPN routers and telecommunication equipment. + Support LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Remedy, MS Windows, RDP, and SCCM environments. + Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with end-users. Requirements: + Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. + Experience with PC hardware/software installation and troubleshooting in an enterprise LAN/WAN environment. + Strong communication and customer service skills. + Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Experience with Cisco VPN routers, Active Directory, and SCCM is a plus. Additional Information: + The work schedule will be discussed during the interview. + Occasional travel to other districts and/or overnight travel for training may be required.
