PC Technician
Description We are in search of a PC Technician to join our team based in New York. This role functions within the tech industry, offering a short term contract employment opportunity. The primary tasks involve handling technical equipment, specifically monitors, and ensuring their proper setup and installation. Responsibilities: • Unpacking and setting up monitors with attention to detail • Ensuring proper cable management for seamless operation • Linking monitors to the docking station for optimum functionality • Installing webcams and phone docks as per requirements • Regular reporting to Project Managers for progress updates • Assisting with location setup for efficient workspace organization • Maintaining a steady workflow to meet project deadlines • Collaborating with the internal team for additional support • Handling Cable Installation tasks effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in cable installation, including the ability to troubleshoot issues and ensure stable connections. • Experience with setting up workstations in various locations, ensuring all necessary equipment is properly installed and functional. • Technical certification such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent is required. • Demonstrable knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software. • Experience with virus removal, software installation, and hardware upgrades. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and clients. • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently. • Familiarity with various operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux. • Must be physically able to lift and move heavy equipment if necessary.
