Job Title: PCB DesignerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced PCB Designer in Germantown, MD. This role involves working with a team that designs, manufactures, and markets DSP-based Software-Defined Radios (SDR) globally. The candidate will be involved in areas such as DSP-based receiver design, communication systems theory, cellular/PCS/wireless communications, software, electronic packaging, and digital and RF hardware design.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze schematics and supporting documentation to layout complex RF, power supply, and high-speed digital designs.
+ Create and maintain library components with a high level of detail orientation.
+ Generate drawings for fabrication and assembly.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in Cadence Allegro design.
+ Proficiency in PCB design/layout.
+ Experience with OrCad Schematic Capture is a plus.
+ Ability to communicate clearly with a diverse audience.
+ Highly organized and self-motivated with a commitment to superior workmanship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of PADS-PCB.
+ Familiarity with PCB fabrication processes and technologies.
+ Experience with CAM350 / BluePrint Software.
Work Environment
The company utilizes cutting-edge technology to design high-performance software-defined radios. The PCB Design team consists of one manager and two designers. Allegro is the primary software package used. The work environment focuses on collaboration, precision, and innovation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
