**Currently hiring Electronic Solderers to join our company in Tampa, FL!** **Seeking technicians with 1-3** **years of experience as an electronic assembler.** **Job Title:** Soldering Technician **Location:** Tampa, FL **Position Type:** Full-time **Salary Range:** $20-22 per hour **Benefits** : - Competitive hourly wage ($20-22 per hour) based on experience and qualifications. - Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. - Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a dynamic and innovative company. **Responsibilities:** - Perform hand soldering of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering irons and other tools. - Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate component placement and soldering. - Inspect finished assemblies to verify conformance to quality standards and specifications. - Troubleshoot and repair soldering defects as necessary. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and best practices. - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. **Description:** To assist in the production of on-time, quality deliveries to our customers. • Check foot straps for ESD compliance as needed • Follows ISO process sheet for the operation. • Adheres to all quality and safety guidelines • Participate in performance feedback • Using tweezers, solder extractor, solder iron, hot air pencil and hot air reflow • Must be able to be a precise solderer and be very detailed and meticulous • Will be knowledgeable of rework aids: solder braid, flux, flux-core solder, solder paste isopropyl alcohol • Will keep records in Aegis system, i.e. parts tracking, defect locations and specific issues with the boards • Enters scrap information into Aegis • Performs visual inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various states of production. • May be required to lift bins of assemblies • Follows ISO process sheet for the operation. • Supports and adheres to our safety, quality and 5S policies and procedures • Communication to respective supervisor • Be able to pull up product documentation in Aegis • Be able to interpret Kimball/customer specifications and requirements per Aegis • Communication of findings/quality issues to production staff/supervisor • Perform NPI 1st Article Inspection activities • Work to meet production and quality department goals • Additional duties as assigned **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** Knowledge of quality procedures • Previous electronic manufacturing experience is a plus • Able to read and follow production processes • Ability to keep department records as needed • Able and willing to cross-train into other production positions which may have different technical or physical requirements • Able to successfully complete position certification course • IPC Standards knowledge • ESD knowledge • Basic computer skills • Detail oriented • Able to understand and follow safety policies • Able to successfully complete solder certification and position certification • Ability to read and understand customer documentation **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
