Our client is seeking a PCBA Rework Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience with PCBA Rework and IPC certification which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: PCBA Rework Technician (3-6 Month Contract Role)** **Location: Palo Alto, CA** **Pay Range: $35.00 Hourly** **What’s the Job?** • Soldering iron/tweezers, hot air, preheaters/ hot plate, hand tools and some power tools: populate, test and repair prototype PCBA-through holes, SMD down to 0402 and 0201 size using microscope. • Read/Comprehend electronic schematics or work with written/verbal instructions using little or no released documentation. • Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, power supplies and other standard EE lab equipment • Troubleshoot various systems using documentation, instrumentation, and input from multiple Engineering teams. • Fabricate cable harness, familiar with various sleeving, wire, cable and connector types, crimp tools and techniques. **What’s Needed?** • 3+ years experience in an Engineering development environment • IPC Certification • Great mechanical fabrication and electrical prototyping skills (soldering, wire harness, fab, harness diagram) • Strong troubleshooting skills at board component level. • Experience in Python, Linux based operating systems, LabVIEW, Modbus communication, CAN communication, basic netwroking a plus.
