Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SMT Tech - Maintenance Engineer to join our team at an electronics manufacturing facility specializing in medical devices and cell phones. This role involves troubleshooting and adjusting SMT machines, supporting start-ups and changeovers according to the production schedule, and addressing machine downtimes when maintenance is occupied with other projects.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and adjust SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines.Support start-ups and changeovers per the production schedule.Respond to machine downtimes when maintenance is engaged with other projects.Essential Skills2+ years of experience with SMT, PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), or Wave machines.Experience with troubleshooting and adjusting SMT machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with robotics and vision systems is a plus.Ability to work with small parts and good dexterity.Ability to work Saturdays.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is for the 3rd shift from 11pm-7am, with initial training on the 1st shift for 1-3 months. The work environment is extremely easy and ergonomic, very quiet, and very clean, adhering to clean room standards. There are no hi lo or fork trucks on the floor; everything is moved by pallet jacks. The facility is air-conditioned.

This is a Contract position based out of Holly, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
