Responsibilities

As a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Senior Specialist,  you will Lead the design and execution of deployed business application systems. Mentors less-experienced staff with responsibility for their technical development.  Other responsibilities include:

Serve as experts in technology controls, the Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), Point-to-Point encrypted Payment Card Industry (PCI) solutions, any other compliance requirements and industry standard practices.Develops partnerships with senior users to understand their business needs and define future application requirements. Evaluates the applicability of leading edge technologies and uses this information to significantly influence future business strategies .Conducts risk assessments based on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), HIPAA/HITRUST or other control frameworks and regulatory requirements.Define detailed technical requirements designs usable to project teams for development.Manages customer expectations and ensures prompt and complete customer service. Customizes presentations to the interests of the audience.Work with technology, finance, and any other stakeholders team to ensure adherence to technology, processes and procedures.Facilitate project handoffs to outsourced partners, including preparing documentation, educating, and supporting to ensure a smooth transition.Develops expert understanding of applications development processes, and in-depth knowledge of leading edge technologies to create plans for future technology use.

Complexity of Work:

 

Proficient in IT Audit and/or Security Risk Assessment testing, evaluation of controls, identification of control deficiencies and facilitation of remediation processes collaboration.Skilled in risk management, business risk analysisProven ability to identify, analyze and articulate technology risksAbility to recognize and interpret business issues/opportunitiesMust have solid understanding of HIPAA/HITRUST, NIST, PCI and other industry standardsMust be self motivated with ability to achieve results with limited supervision and be well organizedMust have the ability to collaborate with diverse audience throughout the organization to accomplish common goalsExcellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communications based on audienceTravel as required to complete assessments

Licensure/ Certification / Registration

PCI Council Internal Security Assessor certification must be acquired within 6 months of hire and retained as an active certification as a condition of employment
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Security Assessor credentialed from the PCI Council obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences Bachelors degree in Technology, Finance, Information Security Controls and Processes (ie, Firewall Management) and other industry certification such as a CISSP or CISA are preferred2-4 years PCI experience preferred
