The Project Control Office is responsible for maintaining and promoting project management standards, tools, and best practices, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and lean. The PCO will follow up the project during initiation, planning, execution and closure.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

\n\nGuide project engineers and other functions reporting to the Projects department to promote Project Methodologies and standards.\nProvide support on local PMO governance for the Projects team. (Sponsor’s meeting / weekly reporting structure)\nSupport the financial analyst to ensure projects CAPEX and OPEX accuracy
\nVerify the proper toolkit usage according to the project and business needs.
\nApply the governance, metrics and reporting required for tracking projects within the GMO Project team.
\nBring Projects Team and GMO Group to a world class level in project management.\nEnsure communication with project leaders and project managers
\nMaintain project management standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently.
\nPrepare business / project updates for local management meetings
\nPrepare / create reports and presentations for top management and external stakeholders
\nDevelop, create and deploy PMO training and tools for the GMO group
\nFollow BRP values and behaviors
\nEnsure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
\nEnforce Quality BRP policy\nCreation and monitoring of Dashboards.
