Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurses (PCU RNs) to join our team in Roanoke Rapids, NC. This is a 13-week contract position with a 12-hour night shift schedule. As a PCU RN, you will provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
+ Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
+ Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
+ Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
+ Provide patient and family education and support.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications:
+ Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
+ BLS and ACLS certifications required.
+ Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
