Job Summary: Responsible for all ABA/RS cases for insurance and private pay; managing from start of service to discharge/termination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Regular communication with office staff and therapists via email/phone. + Monthly Verification of Eligibility + Annual verbal verification of all insurance for all cases (may require overtime) + Place cases on-hold if there are authorization issues, and notifying family and office staff + Run authorization reports to ensure that all authorizations are accurate and to determine authorizations that will be expiring soon + Collection/ tracking of all therapist reports i.e., assessments, reassessments, discharge, and termination + Ongoing insurance verification & obtaining approval of new authorizations with appropriate insurance codes + Send reminders to providers with upcoming due dates for reports + Request and obtain new authorizations (enter into database) + Submit requests to insurance companies for re-authorization/appeals; tracking due dates + Enter insurance changes & verifications into database + Quality Assurance-quarterly audits + Ongoing prescription tracking + Ensure that all child status' are up-to-date (active/inactive) + Periodic check of office data entry to ensure all cases are in good working order + Other duties as assigned by manager Our Mission: At Achieve Beyond: We believe that all children have potential. Qualifications and Other Requirements: + Office experience preferred + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements: + Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events. + Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device. + The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). + The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
