We are seeking a graduate of a CAAHEP approved or CMA approved ultrasound technology program. Pediatric experience required; a minimum of 2 years pediatric scanning. Must be registered or registry eligible in pediatric echocardiography through ARDMS. RDCS registry required within 12 months. Fetal echo experience preferred
The Pediatric Echo cardiographer demonstrates competent clinical practice by analyzing the patient's clinical history in order to identify the purpose of the examination. Uses clinical and technical skills to guide the examination and provide the physician with a diagnostic quality examination. Possess a comprehensive understanding of heart and vascular and thoracic anatomy, heart and vascular pathophysiology, hemodynamics, and embryology. Works collaboratively with others in a patient care focused team.
is based in a Pediatric Cardiology Ambulatory office with in patient hospital responsibilities.
No weekends, Holidays or on-call requirements. You will be based out of the Baystate Children's Hospital Practice which offers a wide range of diagnostic and management services for children with heart disease. This position is based in a Pediatric Cardiology Ambulatory office with in patient hospital responsibilities.
