Job Description:

The University of Florida Department of Pediatrics is seeking a fourth board certified/board eligible Pediatric Hematology/Oncology physician at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. This is a 1.0 FTE non-tenure accruing faculty appointment with the Department’s Pediatric Subspecialty Program located in Pensacola, Florida at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital. Experience and/or interest in education is valued.

The Studer Family Children’s Hospital has been serving the Gulf Coast for over 50 years and provides pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty services to children across the Florida Panhandle as well as southern Alabama. The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is an active member of the Children’s Oncology Group and also provides benign hematology services, including comprehensive hemophilia and sickle cell care.  Bone marrow transplant services are performed at partnering centers.  Teaching opportunities exist with the established Pediatric Residency program and medical student rotations.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

M.D. or equivalent, be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida, and be Board certified/ Board eligible in pediatrics or the appropriate subspecialty.
