Catholic Health’s Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, NY is a 375-bed, acute care community hospital serving the health care needs of Nassau County and its surrounding area. Services range from all-inclusive maternal health, oncology and physical medicine to cardiology, rehabilitation, orthopedics, weight-loss surgery, emergency services, outpatient clinical services and behavioral health.

Mercy is a designated Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, as well as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence® by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Mercy is also the recipient of an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons and consecutive Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Awards from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. And, in recognition of the value it places on superior nursing care, Mercy has the Pathway to Excellence® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Additionally, Mercy is the first hospital in New York state to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Sepsis Care.

In 2023, the Mercy Hospital will be opening a 16,000-square-foot medical office building that will house its existing women and children’s clinical services and expand clinical services such as primary care, cardiology, endocrinology and more.

Pediatric Hospitalist Education Requirements:

We currently have openings available for Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalists to join our dynamic team. New York State Licensure and residency training in Pediatrics is required.  Our Pediatric Hospitalists provide care to pediatric patients from newborn to adolescent age group.

The pay for this position ranges from $230K-$280K annually.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
