Job Description

University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (UM-SJMC), a member hospital of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an immediate opening for a Full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join their inpatient team. 

Job Specifics:

Responsible for Pediatric Unit, After hours ED, Newborn nursery and back up for deliveriesIdeal candidates will be trained and board certified in PediatricsSJMC is a CMS 5-Star, Leapfrog Grade ‘A’ hospital and ranked the #1 community hospital in Maryland by U.S. News and World Report.12 hour shifts - 8a to 8p and 8p to 8aExcellent opportunity to provide clinical coverage for an excellent institution, healthcare system, and team!

Qualifications

Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Maryland 

Successful completion of residency or fellowship in area of specialization 

BC/BE in Pediatrics
