Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests.Interprets laboratory and test results.

QualificationsMaster’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification in specialty area required.Possesses and maintains current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP preferred)Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.Additional Information
