40Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Pediatric Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team! This is your opportunity to work in an outpatient setting with a focus on caring for our pediatric population throughout La Crosse, WI and our surrounding areas.
What You'll Do:
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide treatment to help support children and teens in developing the physical, cognitive, sensory, and social-emotional skills needed in everyday life. After the initial evaluation, you will create a plan of care that identifies individual goals, age-specific activities, and milestones that will be integrated into each follow-up session. These sessions will help children and teens meet developmental milestones, overcome sensory challenges, improve self-care, play and self-regulation skills. Our current pediatric therapy team consists of 4 OTs, 3 PTs, and 2 Rehabilitation Technicians for support.
What's Available:
Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Monday – Friday day shifts, shifts vary by day between the hours of 7a-5:30p
Hour long appointment/visit lengths, schedule allows for up to 35 patients/week
Salary commensurate with your years of work experience
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Wisconsin Occupational Therapy License
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Passion for working with pediatric population
Ideal candidate will have pediatric OT experience including pediatric-sensory, feeding, and ADLs
