Shift available in Bridgeport CT-- Monday-Friday 1030-6p Flexible

As a Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

Makes meaningful observations, evaluations, and creates reports. Accept and constructively utilize supervision.Recognizes the needs and concerns of people to maintain constructive relationships when dealing with them.Performs nursing procedures for which the preparation of the Licensed Practical Nurse has provided the necessary degree of skills and judgement.Recognizes when there is a need for an adjustment and flexibility in nursing care functions so as to maintain quality nursing care in all types of situations.Observes and effectively communicates any changes in condition to appropriate members of the health care team.Timely and accurately documents all care provided within the client’s record.Exercises leadership coupled with tolerance and understanding as well as with appreciation and respect for the special abilities and skills of others. Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.Maintains patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.

What is Required?

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing1+ year of LPN experienceCurrent license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Must have a dependable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with the laws of the state.Ability and willingness to travel within designated area approximately 50%

You will report to the Lead Pediatric Field Supervisor.
