Pediatric Pulmonary Function Technician - PRN

You will perform and analyze quality control data and perform advanced invasive or noninvasive protocols. Opportunities will be provided to share educational in-services to staff, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants. **A caregiver in this position works day shift on a PRN, as-needed basis.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Be passionate with strong empathy skills. + Prioritize multitasking in a face-paced environment. + Work well in a collaborative, team-based setting. Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: + Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. + Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technician (RPFT) credentialing from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) + Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) licensure + Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) + Minimum of 1 year direct patient care experience Preferred qualifications include: + 3 years of critical care patient experience + Previous pulmonary function testing experience + Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through AHA + Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification + Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
