This role offers the potential for internal hire or extension upon completion. Key Responsibilities: + Assist in the implementation of respiratory care plans for pediatric patients. + Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care. + Monitor and document patient progress and respiratory status. + Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapies and proper use of equipment. + Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients. Under the supervision of a physician, the Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation. The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.
