Assistant Professor Pediatric Rheumatology University of Rochester Medical Center/Golisano Children’s Hospital Rochester, New York
The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology is actively recruiting a BC/BE pediatric rheumatologist to join our growing academic practice at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level.
Our division is comprised of 3 attending pediatric rheumatologists and a clinical psychologist, two very experienced nurse practitioners, a dedicated full-time RN, pediatric physical and occupational therapists, a pediatric social worker, and a diverse and talented group of administrative support staff, and maintains close ties to our adult counterparts in rheumatology as well as to our allergy/immunology division. The division has an ACGME-accredited pediatric rheumatology fellowship, including the opportunity for combined fellowship training in adult and pediatric rheumatology. Basic science and clinical research are active in the division, and robust support exists in the department and institution for physician investigators, both junior and established. Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester is a state-of-the-art dynamic facility with comprehensive services. It is recognized as the premier quaternary care pediatric institution in central and western New York State.
The position will entail an academic appointment in the Division commensurate with experience. Activities will include patient care, education, supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students, and contributing to the University's academic mission. The position offers a competitive salary and may include research support and start-up funding.
**Qualifications**
Applicants must have an MD or DO, be BC/BE in pediatric rheumatology, and be eligible for licensure in the State of New York.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, the individual's experience, and expertise, with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
