Responsibilities

The Department of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI, is seeking a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join a physician led organization in a community practice. The ideal candidate will join a collegial team of outpatient and inpatient pediatricians, outreach sub-specialists, and advance practice providers. This position is .9 FTE.

Position Description:

Duties include full-scope outpatient pediatric direct patient care, as well as opportunities for educating advanced practice providers, medical students, and Family Medicine residents. The average expected number of patients per day is 15-20 in the outpatient clinic after a reasonable ramp-up period; clinic hours are M-F 8am to 5pm. This position is .9 FTE.

We are a vibrant, growing pediatric practice in Mayo Clinic Health System’s large hub site in Northwest Wisconsin.  This position will provide you with the opportunity to join a collegial team of 16 pediatricians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers operating a busy practice in a physician-led, financially stable organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction. Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire has over 1,000 deliveries per year and the position includes the opportunity to teach and conduct research if interested. The team includes behavioral health specialists, social workers and lactation support nurses.



Qualifications

License or Certification:

Must have M.D., D.O. or foreign degree equivalent.  Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics, or in final year of ACGME accredited program leading to certification. Must have, or have the ability to obtain, the following required licenses and certifications:  

a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of WisconsinDEA license
