Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatrician specializing in Child Abuse to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Hospital provides outpatient health care for children and teens up to age 18 on the campus and in community-based Family Health Clinics. Kings County operates a renowned Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center serving 2.6 million children. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.

Opportunity Details:

Development and oversight of a new Child Abuse Pediatrics program, including inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic 50% protected time for teaching, research, quality improvement, advocacy and other scholarly pursuits Serve on the NYC Health + Hospitals system-wide Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Council to develop initiatives, policies and education on child abuse across the 11-hospital system Provide education and training to medical students, residents, hospital staff and community partners Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University available commensurate with experience Report directly to the Chair of Pediatrics with mentorship and growth opportunities
