Find your purpose as a pediatrics Occupational Therapist! Clara’s House and the Plaza Pediatric Outpatient Clinic are looking for a passionate OT to join their team. You will work 40 hours per two weeks in both departments, totaling a full-time 80 hours per two weeks position.
At Clara’s House you will be part of the new Early Childhood Partial Hospitalization Program, a first in the Midwest to provide care for patients ages 3-5 years old! Clara’s House is in the process of expanding our building to open an Early Childhood Unit. Early identification and treatment for children ages 3-5 who are experiencing severe emotional, physiological, behavioral, and /or developmental difficulties that impact their ability to function at home, preschool, childcare, or community settings. With this program you will provide an opportunity to intervene early, by providing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment interventions, which are particularly important during the early childhood years. The program will also enhance responsive caregiver-child relationships and effective parenting skills during the child’s earliest years of life which is crucial for promoting foundational child development and wellbeing.
At the Pediatrics Clinic, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy plans for patients ranging from newborns to adolescents with various physical, developmental, and sensory needs. You will work closely with families, therapists, and healthcare professionals to support each child’s growth, independence, and overall well-being. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments to evaluate children’s physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities. Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s specific needs. Providing one-on-one therapy sessions using play-based activities and therapeutic techniques. Collaborating with families, physical and speech language pathologists, and healthcare teams to track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed. Educating parents and caregivers on strategies to support children’s development at home and in school environments.Schedule

Starting pay begins at $75,046.40 per year and increases with experience Salary range: $67,257.68 - $100,918.58 per year Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate $3,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus Full-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy and successful completion of clinical training required. Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Registered through the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Occupational Therapist or a temporary Occupational Therapist permit required with Occupational Therapist license obtained within 90 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.To be eligible for the hiring bonus or relocation bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.
