Role Overview: We are seeking exceptional professionals with a passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we support. The Peer Advocate will provide essential peer support services tailored to the clinical needs identified in clients' treatment plans. Key Responsibilities: + Provide orientation, engagement, education, peer support, advocacy, and linkage to services for individuals and their families. + Offer outreach, mentoring, and recovery support services to individuals seeking or maintaining recovery. + Assist clients in applying for benefits and entitlements. + Model effective coping skills and help peers self-monitor their progress. Qualifications: + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + NYS OASAS Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certification required. + Relevant lived experience in addiction treatment services.
