Job Title Peer-Led Team Learning Leader Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Department The Learning Center Job Description/Duties Facilitate in-person peer-led collaboration on how to solve difficult problems for General Chemistry I and General Chemistry II (or other courses) emphasizing the development and strengthening of problem-solving skills over simply finding answers. Meet with faculty each week. Attend weekly PLTL staff meetings. Participate in 2 day pre-semester training activities. Participate in up to 2 workshop recording review meetings. Days/Hours Needed Five (5) hours per week Campus Location/Bldg. To be announced Required Qualifications Must be a current SUNY Cortland student. Successful candidates will have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher AND have earned a B+ or higher in the course to be a leader. Preferred Qualifications Preferred applicants will have participated in Peer-Led Team Learning workshops in the past.
