Peer Recovery Advocate

Morning Star II is an OASAS-licensed, supportive residential program for adult women in recovery from substance use, that accommodates both the women and their pre-school age children. We are seeking a recovery advocate to provide peer support to the women both when they reside at Morning Star and after they leave to reside in the community.
Provide orientation to program, service providers Assist with data collection during and after their stay at residence. Maintain contact with residents post-discharge, including assistance as needed with connecting with community resource
Qualifications - External
Women in recovery with experience similar to Morning Star residents High school diploma or GED Recovery Peer Advocate – Provisional certification acceptable, Full certification preferred.SCO Family of Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer
